About the Janet

  

Janet began her hairdressing journey at Paul Mitchell the School in Costa Mesa, CA at the age of 19 and has been in the beauty industry for 16 years. She made her start as a Fine Art major at a local junior college, but decided to venture into the world of hairdressing to branch out and explore another art form, turning it into a lucrative career. Now as the owner of JSJ Hair Design in San Luis Obispo, CA she continues to balance her love for fine art and hair by creating a space that is both an art studio and salon. Her painting "Venado" was featured in March of 2015 at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA prompting the inspiration and motivation to open her own salon where fine art and hair could meld harmoniously.

Our History

JSJ Hair Design opened June 2015 in downtown San Luis Obispo, CA
